The inspiration for this bear came from the iconic actress Tallulah Bankhead (check her out on Google). She is an 18" bear with a totally beguiling face and is made from vintage German mohair, c.1920's. The mohair has this wonderful embroidery within the fabric and, although it is over 80 years old this bear is strong and robust. But in deference to her age Amy has dressed her in a cornflower blue flapper style dress, overlaid with silver sequinns and bugle beads. She also has a beaded headdress with red ostrich feather plume. Tally is a chunky, tactile, rare bear - the perfect cross-over for someone who loves vintage bears bears and Portobellos!
